An exploration into Equality and Diversity and how this can be applied in a health care environment.

Learning outcomes

AM: This session is suitable for individuals or staff teams who want to gain awareness of best practice in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults. Learners will explore who may be a vulnerable adult, identify signs and indicators of abuse and look at the legislation in place to support individuals. Learner's we reflect upon practice and develop the confidence protect the rights of individuals, ensure health and well-being and support the work place to meet CQC requirements

PM: Learners will develop a detailed understanding of the protected characteristics outlined in the Equality Act 2010. This session is suitable for individuals or staff teams who want to gain an awareness of best practice in reflecting on the impact of discrimination and the legislation surrounding this.
