First Aid at Work

Description
A 3 day theoretical and practical session as recommended by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.
Learners will achieve Qualified First Aider status within the workplace with the skills to deal with a range of situations. The content provides the training and an assessment for certification.
Alongside meeting the HSE requirements, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to administer a wide variety of first aid techniques in the workplace with confidence - from treating minor wounds to saving the lives of colleagues in life -threatening situations.
Learning outcomes
This 3 day course includes course materials, expert tutoring and practical exercises to give learners in-depth training in the following:-

Managing unconscious casualties

Assessing and treating wounds and bleeds

Fractures, dislocations and head injuries

Record keeping and equipment

Legal aspects and secondary surveys
Method
Classroom based and can also be delivered at your site.
Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification - Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
