Paediatric First Aid
Description
A two day (12hr) theoretical and practical session which meets all NCMA and Ofsted guidelines.
This course is designed for those working with infants and children up to 8 years old and could be of interest to parents and those wishing to partake in children's groups.
The course will equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to administer a wide range of first aid treatments which are especially tailored to children. This includes many common injuries specific childhood conditions and also life-threatening emergencies.
Learning outcomes
This two day course includes materials, expert tutoring and practical exercises to give learners in-depth training in how to treat children with the following illnesses or injuries:-

Method
Classroom based and can also be delivered at your site.
Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification - Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
